Everest

Meet Everest!

Breed: Pyrenees-Husky mix

Sex: Male

Age: 3 months old

Everest is a 3-month-old Great Pyrenees-Husky mix with a heart as big as his fluffy paws! Though he’s naturally shy with new people, we’re working diligently every day to build his confidence and create positive associations. His progress has been wonderful to watch!

With timely management and a consistent routine, Everest has been accident-free in the house—a testament to his smarts and adaptability. He’s also crate trained and thrives on the structure it provides, happily settling into his crate every night and after meals for a cozy nap.

When it comes to other dogs, Everest can be a little hesitant at first, but his gentle and curious nature quickly shines through, and he warms up in no time. This sweet pup is learning the world at his own pace and is blossoming into a well-rounded, confident companion.

Karl

Meet Karl!

Breed: English Bulldog

Age: 7-8 years old

Sex: Male - neutered

Karl is a loveable boy with an easygoing temperament and a heart full of love. Karl is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of everyone he meets—whether it's kids, dogs, or even cats. If you're looking for a dog who gets along with just about everyone, Karl is your guy!

While he may not be as energetic as some other breeds, Karl does enjoys his daily walks with his foster siblings, and would never turn down a car ride! On those colder days, Karl is happy to relax next to you while you go about your day. Just follow the sound of his snoring, and you'll find him lounging comfortably, enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

Medical Needs:

Karl came to us with some health challenges, and it’s important for his future family to be prepared for ongoing care.

He has a history of skin issues that required treatment with antibiotics and Apoquel, and he also has chronic cherry eyes. While the cherry eyes are not being surgically repaired, he uses daily eye drops to keep his lenses lubricated.

Karl’s skin condition has improved but we want to prepare any adopter that Karl’s skin may require ongoing management either with diet or during seasonal changes.

Due to his age and breed, potential medical expenses may arise over time; thus, we want to make sure his adopter is ready for a potential financial responsibility.

What Karl may require from a health standpoint, is sure made up in the laughter and love he brings everywhere he goes!
